Somewhere, Maybe Here is a 50-minute performance, featuring a 26-minute black-and-white silent film, accompanied by live piano and presented and introduced by two clowns: The Pianist and The Assistant.

The film follows a fallen angel who arrives to the city, to Berlin. She cannot go back to where she came from so she tries to be really here, to connect with the people and the landscape around her.

Filmed on the streets of Berlin, “Somewhere, Maybe Here” is created from the unplanned interaction and live encounter between the angel and the public.

At its heart it’s about connection: performers with audience, audience with each other and the angel with Berlin – the city and its people. Reflecting what and who she meets, the piece is by turns comedic, nostalgically poetic and deeply moving.
